Tulsa Birth Equity Initiative
Jyra Lowrance is a proud alumna of Hampton University and is from Rock Hill, SC. She served as the Community Engagement fellow for Tulsa Birth Equity Initiative because she advocated and incorporated diversity inclusion in maternal healthcare. She looks to make an impact in Tulsa and learn from the community, all while spreading agape love! When asked what she enjoys doing, she replied, "I am always in the mood for food, so pick a place - let’s eat!
Upon completion of her Tulsa Service Year fellowship, Jyra continued to make her impact globally by joining the Peace Corp.
