Jerakah Greene

Jerakah Greene (they/them) is an incoming TulsaService Year fellow, joining TPS in bettering the education of Tulsa students.They became interested in arts and education after tutoring art students in English and writing for two and a half years. Upon graduating college, Jerakah knew they wanted to continue this work in Tulsa. They were thrilled to join Tulsa Service Year in fulfilling this dream. After their Tulsa Service Year fellowship, Jerakah pursued and graduated with their MFA from the New School in New York. Now back in Tulsa, they work as Content Strategist at ONE80 PR in Tulsa.
Jerakah holds a B.A. in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago, where they minored in Literature, and GenderStudies.
Jerakah is, first and foremost, a writer. Their work can be found in Crabfat Magazine, Impossible Archetype Issue6, The Lab Review, and on the F(r)iction Log. They also have work forthcoming in Hair Trigger, where they were the reviews editor in the fall of 2018
