Impact Tulsa

She/Her/Hers

Norma Lilia Ruiz Cruz is a Tulsa Service Year fellow and an intern forImpact Tulsa. She is a recent graduate from the University of Oklahoma with aBachelor of Fine Arts in Dramaturgy. Originally from Tijuana, B.C., Mexico,Norma came to the U.S. as a student for the United World Colleges USA, an international boarding school located in Montezuma, New Mexico. Growing up in the border, attending an international high school and later finishing colleagues an international student has shaped her values of rightful safety for all people, regardless of ethnicity, race, or passport. This is why she wishes to use the arts as a tool for working toward a more egalitarian world. In her freetime she enjoys reading novels and poems, watching movies and playing boardgames.

I'm looking forward to being able to work with fellow young professionals in Tulsa toward the improvement of the city, and the metropolitan experience that the city offers.
